Many artists equate art supplies with chocolate and fancy jewels. Are you one of them?
When it comes to making art, artists learn through discovery what materials they like working with. From pencils to paint formulas, it’s very personal and is also relative to the type of art you are doing. I have my own personal favorites but it still depends upon the project I am working on and at what stage I am in in the progress of my work. Let me state that my personal materials are not necessarily the best ones for you. There are materials I use and I will give you ideas and show you how I use them. I am often unconventional in my art ways, always exploring, adding and eliminating the materials that don’t work for me. There are SO many to choose from it can get exhausting. . You may hear that certain practices aren’t advisable for one reason or another. I don’t contradict any of them, I am here to show you my own process and what has worked for me. Through your own creative exploration, I’m confident you will find you own personal and unique set of tools. But it’s nice to start somewhere, right?
So, here’s what is going to happen during our ZOOM WEBINAR. I will have a collection of materials on my art table. I will go through them with you and share some brief demos on how they work. I can’t demo everything otherwise we would need days. I will also send you a list after the webinar with the names of the materials and links (if I can find them) to places where you can order them.
