After months of renovations, the new studio is about to open. I can't begin to express how excited I am. Finally, I have the space to move around and paint and invite others in to share the magic. This is a dream come true for me. The new space is filled with amazing light — also an artist's dream.
This year a collection of 13 new paintings called "Conversations" was exhibited in a solo show at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Morristown, NJ.And some of the press coverage was amazing! A jump up and down giddy excitement followed.
Hawthorn home in Summit, NJ and I had a really successful partnership. The retail store has closed but art will continue to be sold. More to come on this one.
Sneak peek of my new art studio. I'm hoping that a lot of magic gets made here. The plan is to paint, exhibit, teach and support other emerging artists. In 2018 a series of workshops will be scheduled. Abstract painting, collage and mixed media will be just some of the topics to be explored. Private lessons with working artists along with group classes will happen in this space. Watch for the announcement of next year's schedule.
"Paint The Town Yellow" - March 11, 2017
I am proud to be a part of the of Madison, NJ's "Paint The Town Yellow". The celebration begins March 11 from 3pm - 5pm with an opening art exhibit of optimism-inspired artwork from the Peg Williams Gallery at Short Stories on Main Street. The celebration begins March 11 and runs through April 30, highlighted by the United Nation’s International Day of Happiness on March 20 and Mental Health Awareness Month through all of April.
